Mic Spam Proposal

Let's face it, musics in sG has gone dry. Other clans have partially or completely got rid of the mic altogether. I'm trying to find a balance that puts in good music while eliminating those whose sole purpose is to make our ears bleed.


I'm thinking of two ways of doing this:


1. Keeping votemute while ditching automute. Increase penalty for falsely votemuting to discourage mutes based on dislike.


2. If there is a way to give automute immunity to certain people we know won't mic-flood, admins can give that immunity while we can keep automute and ditch votemute.

1. The server doesn't automute you.

2. No, that isn't possible.

Umm, of course it is not sG. Also, if you would read it fully, I am requesting something sG doesn't do.

Eventually we are going to NEED mic spam block with 64 people.

I did read it fully, I just didn't understand your wording. Anyways, automute isn't ono ur servers, and the second option isn't possible.

We'll try no votemute then. But if complaints start rolling in, we'll have to put in votemute.

Is it possible to make a automute but instead of auto muteing them on the spot it could trigger an immediate vote and then people would vote if the person should be muted or not

That would murder server bandwidth.

Spamming is and always will be a huge problem with css, best way to maintain this problem is having good and active admins.

But votemute should be there, if majority of the server doesn't want someone to use voice chat for whatever reasions than he shouldn't. If one person dislikes someone it's very unlikelly that ONE person will be able to persude the whole server on muting the one he doesn't like.

Remember if one person likes the music doesn't mean someone else will, let the players talk!
